Hi I am trying to find shipping records of a Norwegian Man named Arnold Kristian Jorgensen born Norway 1907 father Asken Jorgensen..PRE 1942..

I have his records 1942..1943..1944 &1948.. he died in San Diego in 1949 whilst in port..he resided in Manhattan New York..I don't have shipping records for 1949 or any years Pre these...and wondered where any on Ancestry..

From the original post, I took it to mean that Colette is looking for records for Arnold before the 1942 (and later) shipping records. She does say that he died in 1949 in San Diego so the 1985 death record can't be him.

Hi Margaret I meant from 1942....Maddie thank you if you can see any earlier records than 42...I noticed he was living in the Norwegian Church Mission Brooklyn in 43..I was hoping as he stated on one of these records he had been at sea since he was 18..
