Trying to find a connection which may not exist...

Hello,

I sort of have two trees. My dad was adopted so I have his adopted family and the family of his biological mother.

I have discovered I have the surname French on both sides. I am not sure where these people were born, but I have a Hannah French in Durham born about 1820, and a Martha French in London born about 1828.

Hannah marries a James Pickering, and Martha a Charles Manning.

Does anyone know of any connection.

Thanks

Lynn
