You can't see a closed record. It means the person is less than 100 years old and still living or they died after 1991.

Seeing nothing for Albert Street or Currrell.

Will have another look but perhaps he changed his name again or gave a different DOB

Thank you. Does the closed record read as Albert Currell? Are there any other names on the record?

Thank you, but this is the son, who has the same name as his father. Four generations had the same name!

As an after thought, they were/are all known as Fred, and the Albert isn't/wasn't used. I don't about the one I'm looking for though, only the next three generations who follow him.

Albert Street b15/08/1884 in Bilston, Stafford. He changed his name to Albert Frederick Currell (appears on his marriage certificate). He abandoned his wife and family between 1925 and 1930. In 1933 his wife and son, also Albert Frederick Currell, were living in Regents road, Handsworth in the Midlands.

I have had no luck tracing him. Family 'talk' is that he stayed in the area, possibly had another family.

Thank you.
