I am trying to trace my Grandmothers side of my family.Lilian appears to have been born in Mortlake Surrey around 1896 to 1899 She moved to Liverpool don't know what year or how she came to be there however she married my Grandfather Peter in Toxteth Park Liverpool in 1920 they had 10 children.Lilian died in 1936 shortly after giving birth to her son William.There are only two of her children Mary & William still living.Hope somebody can help me trace her family.

Is Annett her maiden name? Who did shye marry ? William ???

Annette was her maiden name. I am not sure but think her parents where George & Louisa Annett nee Hobbs .

The Lilian Annett b19/2/1899 as above. died as Lilian Annett in 1984 in richmond surrey. So maybe not the same one or birth date wrong!

Lilian died 1936 birth date given as 1897

I would suggest you get a copy of marriage Cert, then that should show her age and where born, as can only find the the 1899 one who died 1984 as Annett

Just seen Marys post Looks like the correct birth , so was born in Toxeth. after all

SO sad! She is Lilly Ennett rather than Annett in 1911. Her mother says she has been married 21 years and had 16 children, of whom only 1 (Lilly) is still living in 1911.
