Hi, Does anyone have access to the Wolverhampton burial records? Family Search has a Matthew Grogan burial for 29/6/1847 with his age as 71 years but FMP has his age given as 41 yrs. Can someone please tell me which is right?
Also can the burial of Mary Grogan be checked, I have this for the 4th qtr. 1857 with her age given as 35yrs. Are these related??
Any help appreciated.
Thank you
Kath

Can't find a death for a Mary Grogan aged 35. Did she die in Wolverhampton too?

I don't know, can only say he was buried on the 29/6/1847 according to FMP which doesn't tally with either of those???

Thanks for looking

From the gro site which gives ages at death from 1837 onwards. Free to use.

https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/indexes_search.asp

It's only failing at the moment as far as i know is that all values are in years, it as yet doesn't distinguish ages in months or weeks.

There are 2 Matthew Grogan's 1847
Results:

It is Family Search that gives his age as 41 and FMP has 71.
