Hi I have on CD ROM the typed up registers of baptisms and marriages of La Patente and St Jean French Huguenot churches in Spitalfields, London containing places of origin of the parents, sometimes a residence, date of birth, and the childs godmother and godfather. Marriage registers give the spouses parents names and places of origin as well. Lookups offered. Ben

Jean Watson An Elizabeth Masse was a godmother to the baptism of an Elizabeth Marsillac in 1699. On 2 May 1703 a Samuel Bollon was baptised, son of Jousemmet Bollon and Elizabeth nee Masse of Montagu Street, Spitalfields. Born 30 April Godfather was Samuel Goupeil and godmother was Marie Bouchet. The same couple had Eslie in 1705 baptised 9 Dec. The family were now in Thomas St, Whitechapel. Godfather was Eslie Guesdons, godmother Marie Lanbreton. Also an Elizabeth Bollon baptised 25 April 1708, Parents places of origin is given as Tonnett Boutonne et Xiatonge and Elizabeth Masse was of Whitechapel. Godparents Daniel Boquet and Elizabeth Neel. Born 16 April. A Jacquette Masse was godmother to a Louis Devesin baptism in 1719. A Pierre Masse was godfather to a Jeanne Gastineau baptism in 1720 A jacque Masse was godfather to a Suzanne Le Marchand baptism in 1733. Ben
