Paula Elizabeth Ardron Hi - Parish records and the IGI, you could also take a look at familyhistoryonline - If you look in the BMD reg - for a birth after 1911 SEPT - the mothers maiden name will be there:- Unfortunatly the W's for March quarter 1913 are missing - so have looked on my 1837 - March Quarter Elsie Websters born:- what's the most likely one? Elsie Webster Mothers maiden name - SMITH Bolton 8a 936 Elsie Webster Mothers maiden name - JONES Newton 11b 251 Elsie Webster Mothers maiden name - LEALOR Birkenhead 8a 1102 Elsie Webster Mothers maiden name - WHITTAKER Rochdael 8a 92 Elsie Webster Mothers maiden name - HOUGHTON N. Brierley 9b 111 Elsie Webster Mothers maiden name - LEES Hartlepool 10a 219 *************************************************************************** We can try and cheat to find an addy on 1901 - we go to the na 1901 site and use address search - this will give us the source details for that addy, then we can try and bring up those source details on Ancestry and see who was living there - does not always work though ... Did not work. Pen x

Me again! There's one branch of family I'm not having much luck with as it's quite a common name. My grandmother was Elsie Webster, born Green Gates, Eccleshill, Bradford on 14/02/1913. Her mother was Annie and was born and lived at Bottoms Farm, Green Gates, Bradford. Her father was John Webster born around 1885 in Bradford, a Warehouseman on Elsie's marriage cert. Elsie had a sister Mary and a brother Joseph. I don't know Annie's maiden name, but wonder if there's some way I can search on the address that she was born and lived? Do you know any way to search addresses? Thanks once again, Paula x

Hi Pen, Further to the Wasteneys and Hawksworths that you helped me with a few weeks agao, I've got some certificates through now and they all seem to back up yours and David's findings, so thanks very much! I'm now just having trouble going back to before the 1841 censuses to find family members and confirm relations. Do you have any tips or anywhere I can get information pre 1841 (or 1837 for BMD's)? Thanks, Paula
