Diane, there are too many 'possibles' to be able to answer that. There isn't one in Stepney of the right age, and too many in London.

Hi Tracy, Thanks for the help with Mary & James Cross, nice to get them sorted. Just wondering though did you have an address, or jobs for them? By the way Eleanor Absolom was my grandmother, so yes she did belong to me. Thanks Jane

Hi Tracy, On a photo of a gravestone I have a death date of March 16th 1914 for Annie Rodgers aged 32 years and her son Frank of 5 days on March 18th 1914. We think it could be either Sheffield or London area. Is it possible to tell me in which district these were recorded in please? Margaret

Yes please Tracey, If you can find this one I will be amazed as so far I have just drawn blanks... James Ardrey definitely died before 3 August 1901 as daughters marriage cert lists him as deceased !!! born abt. 1855 Allington Kent (son of Richard Ardrey & Elizabeth Manley). no sign of him on 1891 census or 1901. 3 of his children are in the local workhouse Maidstone Kent! wife living in someone elses house with other 2 children but she is listed as married in 1891. I have no idea if he was in the forces or not. Any trace of him will be helpful. Thanks Annette

Hi Tracy Can you try and find Edward Moxom c1877 Bournemouth Dorset for me please. Because of the variations throught our family tree of the spelling of Moxom, I have not had much luck at all. It could be Moxham, Moxon, Moxen any old thing would do back then it would seem. He was married to a lady nee Judd-Chalk from the same area or Isle of Wight area but don't know her christian name. As I have been unable to find his son Edmund, can't get a birth certificate. thanks Lynne

Tracy In the 1841/1851 her name in Georgiana Chantler father George mother Maria Hall - confused. Then she married John Chantler - more confused. Then she married Peter Campbell. I think she was Maria Hall's daughter illegitimate because I found John Chantler's birth cert 1837 father George - so did Georgiana first marry her Stepbrother ?? before Peter. Linda
