I've reached a brickwall regarding my 2xGGM. Her name was Annie Pulham born abt 1855. In the 81 and 91 census it says she was born in Kent. In the 1901 and 1911 census it says born Mitcham Surrey. I can't find her at all in 71 but found an Ann Pulham in 61 in Lambeth Workhouse Industrial School which I think may be her. There is also a John Pulham who may be her brother. According to Annies marriage cert in 1878 her father was James Pulham deceased a labourer, I know absolutely nothing about him. I wondered where I could find out about the Lambeth Workhouse admissions and what details they give you and also if the London Met Archives would do a look up for me? Any tips appreciated thanks!

Contact them, and ask.................

You are unlikely to find such records online.

Thanks for replies Reggie and Andrew. I've just been on the LMA site and they charge £50 for the first hour to do a look up for me. I've emailed them to see if they hold the records for 1861 but don't think I can afford to pay that! Hopefully Ancestry will get a move on and get them online.
