Bless him, he wants to be out and about in his mind even if his body doesn't. Well done his mate for getting him out and about, he is a star, where would you be without him? I hope the medications can stabilise the sodium levels for him.

I don't think I had heard of low sodium levels before. Is there a diet that can correct it?

He is still well spaced out but we do try to keep up a normal life for him as far as is possible.

I don't want him lying in bed being a poor sick old man.

Bless him.
What a rollercoaster life he leads.!

I hope he enjoys his jaunt around the village,no doubt thinking up what they can get up to in the days ahead.

Seriously though, I hope he feels alot better, so that you too can relax just a bit.

Carers left Fred in bed this morning to await the out of hours nurse and I came to find a poor, sick, helpless old man groaning and dozing.

She came and changed his catheter and the carers came back in while she was here. Asked him if he wanted to be left in bed. Well they might as well have asked him if he wanted them to set fire to him.

Of course he wanted to get up and he is now sitting in his wheelchair eating a cheese roll! They will be going out in a minute.

He is not quite with us still but he won't go down without a fight!

Special thoughts.

Hope they can take some of the some of the worry from you by admitting him to hospital if he feels better off there......

Carers found him on his side, catheter out, in a wet bed this morning.

Nightmares, part of the low sodium I believe.

They are calling for an out of hours nurse to come out.

Poor Fred, he doesn't deserve these set backs and nor do you Sharron.

I do hope the change in meds and the extra anti bs will do the job and get him back on form asap
