Hello everybody,
my name is Christopher Patrick Kelly. Born: 14th March 1941, in Glasgow. I am searching for my younger brother, William Patrick Kelly. He was born: 3rd November 1948. 195 Hampstead Road, Islington, London. His mother was Catherine Kelly, m/s Robinson. I was placed in LCC Care homes in 1947.
I never met, or knew about William Patrick Kelly untill 2012.
Mother died Jan 1997, in a nursing home in Westminster.
William has two sisters who would love to meet him. (They live in Glasgow).
If anyone out there can help, we would be most gratefull

Do you know if he was adopted? Could his name have changed?

Purchasing his birth certificate would let you know if he was adopted or not.

There's no indication on his birth GRO ref that he was adopted.

There isn't always anything to indicate an aoption in the indexes. The cert would clarify matters

Wow Abi, that is amazing!
Just a tip - this is the only thing Christopher ever posted, and as you see he hasn't replied at all.
I recommend you send a personal message to him - just click on his name.
If Genes have his current email address he will be notified of the message.
