Lived in Erith in Kent for a while and was in the Royal Navy about 1955. born about 1932. Had some brothers

What other information do you have on him? Names of his brothers or parents perhaps?
Your other thread suggests that his names might be reversed.

Try searching all members trees on this site and contact anyone who may have him listed.

If you know the address and year when he was living in Erith - you did mention Long Lane - you could contact Bexley Library who probably hold the historic ER. They could look up the address and tell you if there were any other Harris' living there at the time.

If he's a relative, how is he related to you? Names and dates of the relatives you share would help.

Bearing in mind the thread Rose found is 8 years old, I have RR'd it as a duplicate. There were no replies on it.

Information contained on that thread stated he was living with an uncle and his mother had died.
