I believe I have (distant) family in the Manchester area. I am looking for family of Annie Moffatt who died in 1961 in Manchester. She married Thomas Shirley originally from Dublin .Her parents were Alfred Moffatt and Annie Gee (Wilbraham)
Would love to here from anyone with info.
thanks
Michele Jones

Have you used free bmd to look for children of Thomas and Annie?

Have you also looked to see if any of the people you have mentioned are in trees on here - and then tried to contact the tree holder for more information?

Thanks very much for your help everyone. That gives me something to go on. Should be busy for a while... This is a family I didn't know about until the other day when someone contacted me who is a distant relative of mine from a link in this family. Fascinating, thanks will get going :-)

To clarify

The 'marked as answered' option is intended ONLY to be used to show that the query has been FULLY resolved.

It is often wrongly used, and causes much irritation

The fault lies with GR, and they refuse to do anything about it
