Help with a death record needed.....please!

Hi all,

I am searching for the death of my great aunts husband, his name is WINSTON NORMAN BEADLE, born 1911 in Teesdale Durham, He married 5th Feb 1942 IN Gateshead to KATHLEEN WINIFRED RYAN. I have looked at birth and death registers but cannot find deaths for either of them or children born to them. O n the marriage cert it states he was a soldier, if he was killed in action would he be in the death registers?

Any info or guidance on where to look greatly apprieciated

Looked on the CWGC site and there's no death for him so he must have survived the war.

Kathleen was born in Gateshead 1912.mothers maiden name graham.
