The main thing I wanted the 1841 census for was to find a certain person------------------Joseph Sutcliffe was born 1825/1826 in Manchester, and I have his marriage certificate in Yorkshire in 1849 to Ellen Cooling. It has his Father down as being Joseph Sutcliffe miner, but no mention of him being deceased. Having looked at the 1841 (and trying lots of varients) I cannot find a Joseph Sutcliffe (born 1825/1826) who is the son of Joseph Sutcliffe, also, having looked on the IGI there doesn;t appear to be any possibilities, apart from one, but that is 33 miles from Manchester. Any ideas? Thanks |
