A Family History Workshop, at Wombwell Library, Wombwell, Barnsley, South Yorkshire from Monday 8th May 2006 will run every Monday from 1pm til 3pm. There will be Internet access not only to the Free search and information sites but olso to Pay sites like Ancestry and 1837. There are also information sheets with a list of Web sites for researching Family History. There are also sheets on how laws affected our Ancestors things like the Poor Laws and the Workhouses. As long as people turn up for this worshop it will carry on running indefinately. So come on we don't get things like this in this area very often so don't let this have to pack in because no one turns up. Don't worry if you don't know how to use the Internet or a computer there is someone to help you. Come and get support and help and help through the brick walls that we all run into. |
