help in deleting desk top short cuts that wont go!

Put the ones you dont want in the RECYCLE BIN; Left click on icon >>> hold>> move icon to bin and let go,,,repeat,, |

can anyone help with this? i have just down loaded the new version of ad-aware and have ended up with 4 short cuts on my desk top! only one works, and when i try to delete the other 3 this is what i get:'cannot delete file:cannot read from the source file or disk', i've clicked on properties and it says it is not a valid short cut, what can i do to get rid of them?? ad-aware is working ok, i've just done a scan. thanks, chris. if i don't reply straight away, it's cos i've gone off to watch corrie!!!!!!!!!!!! |
