But York is in ..erm.. Yorkshire! Askham, Westmorland is a parish in the West Ward reg district, registers now in Penrith. (On Multimap, Askham is about 5miles south of Penrith). Bit closer to Durham too! Richard |

Thanks a lot. It's only a possible lead to a lady that was never born and she never died, she only got married and she didn't have a father. I suppose York to Durham isn't too far! Michelle |
