Wow Jenny - what a brilliant website - saved it to my favourites! My mums cousin (only just realised that's the relationship as been concentrating on further back) was a TB nurse and died of it - she was only in her early twenties - that was in 1929. Incidentally, 3 of my mums cousins are still living today - one of them 90 years old - think I should pay her a visit don't you? Debby

I have found three death certificates recently that have the cause of death as phithisis pulmonalis(spelling?) Does anyone have any idea what this is or if not where I could find out? Thanks Jill
