Privatising your Family Tree

You can opt to hide the details of living relatives in your tree. Please click here to be taken to the page to do this. You must choose 'yes' next to 'Hide living relations' and then save the changes.

This now means that the following will happen:

Any individual in your family tree with a year of birth within 120 years, and who has no date of death recorded in the tree, will be shown in the tree as hidden – this replaces the name usually shown in the tree. This also includes your own entry. All of their details will be hidden, including photos.

Please note that even if you have privatised your tree, the full names and details of the privatised names will appear in search results for other members.
