Hi there. If you remember I looked at this before with you. I cannot see that any of the family stayed in Gibraltar. What makes you think that they did?

Hi Paul
I am only looking at Wright for the original enquirer. As I live in Gibraltar I have access to the written word. So to your question I don't have an answer.
Why don't you try contacting the Joanne, she may know?
Hope all is well with you.
Regards, Carole

Hi Carole,

These 'Wrights' wouldn't be any relation to Elizabeth Wright b.1812 who married William Peirpoint would they?
As you know we share our Sharrock tree and the Pierpoints are tied up with the Sharrocks.
Cheers!

Hi Carole here in Gibraltar. I have tracked down the man who keeps the records of the Methodist church in Gib. I am contacting him by e-mail tomorrow (got the address from his wife) I might get some info for you.

as the cert is written quite badly,it could be bernett or bennett.also the p in paxton or paxtow could be an s.jo

.lulabelle,if your out there,on page 3 you said the ellen i found married to a william in the 1901 census, was also on the 1881 census,so its not the right one,is that because they wernt in the country?as im not sure when they came back here.as the cert i ordered for the young ellen seems to be incorrect.thanks jo

Joanne Report 5 Aug 2010 12:56

hi carole, ive checked to see if anyone else is doing this line and havent found anyone yet..it would have to be one of the younger one i suppose if im going to order another cert.maybe the younger 3 were just james kids.jo
