You mention that Eliza Mary Smith was in a workhouse in 1901, and her kids were in a Childrens home. Just wondered if you knew which workhouse she was in?

looks as though Eliza Mary Aspey was unmarried?? and actually born Smith 1860 if her mum didn't marry until after her birth.

Missing Smith's in 1901 census. There seems to be no trace of Wilfred Henry Smith born 1887 or sisters Alice Margaret Smith born dec 1888 and Kate Elizabeth Smith born dec1889. Mother Eliza Mary Ann Smith also missing, Eliza's Husband Walter Henry Smith died in Dec 1889, got the siblings 1911 but no mother (Eliza)? but a Mary Isabel Smith appears with the siblings in 1911? Think she was born in 1891 and was witness to Wilfred's Marriage in 1912?
