Possibly Willis mother could be Ruth L Haight .. Il keep both options open for now

Immigration link for Maryann in 1914 is not correct .. Unfortunately Maryann oneill is quite a common name in Ireland.. Oneills are in abundance up and down the country and Mary or Maryann is most common name in Ireland

He's not with Mary in 1905. Marital status is not listed

I have all that info in Tyrone .. Im here in Ireland living
I have done family tree extensively and then i decided to explore some more maryanns line in New York
I Found out who she married where they lived .. Sons names etc.. Was looking marriage certificate and also wondered whatever happened to james haight their son Maryann died 1974 .. James would have been 50 by then

Maryann O'Neill was born in Tyrone in 1884 .. My granny's sister .. My granny Brigid was first born year earlier

There are a few Willis heights around that time but his DOB is 1863

Maryann had a son born in Tyrone john O'neill he finally went over to New York also by age of 36 to join his mother.. She often visited him in Tyrone going back n forth on the ships but he wouldn't leave Maryanns parents who reared him TIL they passed away.
Maryann was joined by her brothers hugh and john O'Neill .. John finally came back to Tyrone with his Tyrone born wife to settle down .. Hugh stayed on he was a widower with three children though children stayed in Tyrone reared by his parents also ..hugh was a barman in the Bronx .. They all lived at 53 w 105th Manhattan

Harold mecham is her nephew i believe even though one census says her son and another her nephew .. It states his mother was from Ireland but I have all of Maryanns siblings names and who they married so not sure how he fits in as her husband willis haight seems to have no irish blood connrctions himself .

Maryann is my Grannys sister they were all O'Neills from Tyrone

1940 also shows Mary has a son John O'Neill b Ireland...
The 1940 Census Ann (09.06) has shown with Willis Haight aged 77 does not show family..but 2 lines above is a Mary O'Neill....!!

The 1914 Immigration for a Mary Ann O'Niell..she was b NY 1897..!

Tricia, where does Harold Mechin (Meehan?) fit in? On the 1940 census he's listed as Mary Haight's son but on the 1930 census he's listed as Willis S Haight's nephew?

On the 1930 Mary is 47 and states she was first married at age 35, so circa 1918.
