	I think the name Keen has just been misread as Kun - the writing is very 'squashed together'. I will take a look for 'uncle Baden' Dea x

I will consider looking into the will, my mother may have access to it already. Are there any other details on George's brothers? or perhaps Mabel snr's family? I am interested in this favourite "Uncle Baden" – the name is strange to me. The listing of her surname, as both Kun and Keen also interest me, is this just a evolution of spelling or perhaps a germanic name anglicised? Best Thomas

	Given that there are 27 pages of service records on him they don't actually say much - many are empty and others duplicated. It does confirm his marriage to Mabel in Slough on 13th Feb 1907. Daughter's birth 15th Feb 1908. - no other children mentioned. He joined at 35, a Licenced Victualler of the Balaclava Inn. Height 5ft 71/2 ", weight 158 lbs and 'some false teeth'.# Demobed 22 April, 1919 - received British War medal and Victory medal. He did serve some time in France but the writing on the records is very feint so I can't see much more detail. Dea x
