Your Isabella Hopper is the one I posted about on 15 Nov @ 17:58 with parents Thomas and Isabella.

Mother Isabella was also a Carr:

Marriages Jun 1864 (>99%)
Carr Isabella Gateshead 10a 816
Hopper Thomas Gateshead 10a 816

??? so is mother Isabella also a sister of Mary and Jane?? Which would make your Isabella Hopper, Mary Jane Morland, and Lily Coates all cousins of each other.

PM from June:

Apologies for taking so long to reply, Thanks to yourself and the others that replied to my thread I have been able to establish the link between Isabella Hopper and my father. You are right in saying that Isabella, Lily and Mary were cousins as was my ggrandfather George. His father also George was one of the brothers and the one that established the sweet factory in Oakwellgate, Gateshead.
Thank you once again for all your help.
Cheers June x

So the sweet factory in North Shields was a red herring!

Came across this article (from 2004) about a lady called Annie born c1904 who worked at Carr's.

Pleased that my Lily Coates turned out to be a good lead and well done to ArgyllGran (with MarieCeleste) for finding all the connections. :-)
