its not right 1861 census it is McMillan -- as I copied the marriage cert. on here
he is a packer on that and packer on the census

don't think that Robert and Sarah Millan is right -- Robert is not a weaver

That marriage for Matilda Jenkinson was for a widow nee Butcher -- so still
don't know what happened to my Matilda??

I also received the marriage of another sister - Sarah - not found her in census
after marriage 12th May 1861 St Mary - Haggerston - Shoreditch

Robert McMillan 25y - packer - father Alexander McMillan - Decorator
Sarah Susannah Jenkinson 19y ----------father Charles Jenkinson - cabinet maker

wit James John Jenkinson and Elizabeth Jenkinson [Uncle and Aunt]

so did Sarah S McMillan - she was born Norfolk - emigrate with new husband
and did the disappearing Matilda also emigrate at sometime ??

you were all kind enough to help me find what happened to Harry perhaps
you have time to seek Sarah and Robert McMillan and perhaps Matilda

thanks Chris do have the details

several of the eldest boys are named Charles Saunders/Sanders Jenkinson after the Admiral Sir Charles Saunders who has a memorial in Westminster Abbey ------
In his will he is an Uncle to the Jenkinson family of Cubley Derbyshire -- he left £1000 pound to each niece and nephew - he knew their married names as well--
never quite worked out where the relationship was

Most of his estate went to his Sisters daughter
Sister was Ann Saunders she married Peter Kinsey children
Charles and Ann

Ann married Richard Huck they had to change surname to Saunders to inherit

so another sort of challenge if any one can add a bit more

Mavis :-) :-) :-)
