	That is definitely the Joseph I'm looking for, I just can't place him exactly in my tree. I have a lot of brookhouses all originating from Derby, either this Joseph is of no relation which I do find unlikely but still possible, or I'm missing some link in my tree. My Brookhouse paternal link goes as far back as a John Brookhouse c1744 who married an Elizabeth Simpson. I can't find any siblings for John, maybe Joseph is a line from one of his siblings. :-S

	Joseph Brookhouse daughter that married Charles Fox in 1832 later knighted in 1851 he was an eminent civil engineer,Joseph Brookhouse ESQ was in partnership with brother John as watch and clock makers which was dissolved in 1832. Lady Fox died in 1879 in her 71st year.(no name given) Sir Charles died 1874 in Blackheath he left a wife and 4 children also a brother Douglas, Another daughter of Joseph Brookhouse Eliza maried Joseph Atkinson Ransome of Manchester a surgeon. just titbits from Britishnewspapers,,,,, another Joseph Brookhouse died 1861 in Derby aged 55.
