Morning

Well, all the above information ties in with the information I have.

When you mentioned the "chimney" incident Chris, I realised it was the son Richard who died in 1864.I have a photo of his gravestone.

How unlucky can one man be!!! Poor soul.

Thank you very much for all you help.

Mel.......Perhaps that is my Richard on the naval service record, which is why he can't be found on the census in 1841.
