Thank you all for your help it is really appreciated.
I agree that it looks as if Emma was not a Gray or even an Arksey but had strong connection to Kilham and I can only find 2 Emma's and 1 married a Gray and the other a Broughton and had many children ?????

I just knew that all you good people on here would come up with some answers you are just wonderful.

Now just need to find out who Emma was ????

Hull Daily Mail - Tuesday 09 November 1943

Charge of Bigamy
At the Driffield Police Court on Monday, Thomas Edward James Lee of Stonehouse, Plymouth was charged with Bigamy... Mrs Lee said she married defendant on July 15 1936 at Plymouth. He was a reservist in the Royal Artillery and was called up in September 1939. They had one child. Defendant left her at the expiration of his leave in November 1941. She did not know where he was until aboout 2 or 3 months ago when she began proceedings against him. Mary Iona Hunneysett, East St. Kilham stated she was married to the defendant on December 26 1941 at Kilham Parsih Church. She had no knowledge that he was married and they lived as man and wife until she heard he had a wife. They had one child, a girl. The defendant who reserved his defence was committed for trial at York Assizes and was allowed legal aid and bail.

A later article states that he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment.
