Olive I've sent the seaman's record by pm- you should be able to enlarge it as much as you want on your own computer.

His first service aboard ship was on the Pembroke II in 1923 and the his last service was in 1928 aboard the Triad.

I have printed it off in the Local Library but it so small

It gives all where he has been and the names of the Ships

It is so small I carnt make it out

I have no idea if his Mother was married just trying to trace Elizabeth on the 1861 1851 1841 Census
I have managed to find all the News Paper Artical you mentioned
