Just letting you know that i have received the birth certificate for Peter Edwin lawley and his mother was Sarah Ann Lawley her time of residence in November 1869 when he was born was Darlaston ( new street ) .

Yes, that's what I thought too.

It also ties in nicely with the newspaper article where Peter's mother takes his side against his wife. So we know she was around in the 1890s.

Just read your last post and in 1891 peter was living at 104 elmore greenroad,bloxwich,walsall so this definately confirms your findings rootgatherer :-) :-) :-)

Wow i can,t thankyou enough peter was also in hemsworth in 1911 and that,s where alot of my husbands family come from so she either followed him or him her :-)
