James William Kendall aged 11 months buried in same grave as Samuel baker senior...Samuel bakers dad. Looks like he was buried in there same tear as Samuel and Emily's wedding. :-)

Shirley

Shirley Report 7 Apr 2017 14:02

Think definitely burnley in 1882 as there is a young Kendall son buried in grave of the baker,s in 1882 ....don't know whose child he is but possibly son of Emily's brother ? Will just check that. :-)

Shirley

Shirley Report 7 Apr 2017 13:53

Thanks. So looks like the family came from Derbyshire between 1861 and 1871 ....wonder how long Emily had been in burnley. Can't find which church they married in ..would have to get certificate ..maybe a non conformist chapel if it went through registrar . :-)

Can anyone find Samuel on the 1881 census ? Wondering when he came from Derbyshire to burnley and if he came alone. Also when Emily came from Cornwall to burnley. She was born in Cornwall and her maiden name was Kendall.
