Sorry Benjamin

I'm not familier with the churches in London and do not know where the two you are mentioning are. Are they in Fulham? If so, the surname I am looking for is "Bird"

Thanks
Dee

Hi Deetortraining

The churches cover La Patente & St Jean Spitalfields, London.

Carol. No Grimmaulds or Drimmeaux's at St Jean but I found this at La Patente

Abraham Grimaux, born 23 Aug 1698 son of Abraham Grimaux and Marie Hardi. They originated in Bordeaux. Godparents were Jean Orbrisset and Anne Hardy.

Bridget sorry no Gard or Gaode's at either churches.

Beryl sorry no marriage of a Charlotte Lightfoot.

Hi Ben,
I wonder if you could look up the names of
Grimauld/Grimmeaux or the phonetic Grimmo that
was used by my family of silk weavers from the
Bethnal Green Area. The earliest name I have is
Austin Grimmeaux/Grimmo/Grimauld born 1792
Thank you,
Carole in California.

Hello Benjamin

Could you tell me which part of London the CD's cover and for which years please.

I have traced family to Fulham on 1901 census but do not know the parish to which I should start me research.

Many thanks
Dee

Thank you for this offer. Can you find any baptisms of Braham children 1831-44? The younger children's births are not registered. Parents Richard and Mary. The marriage of these parents c. 1825 would be an extra bonus!!!

Ben Thank you for the info on Noe at La Patente...That is very interesting :) I may well take you up on your kind offer for the Noe at St.Jean and the Galliers. But I need to review the info I have.....Don't want to send you on a wasted journey hunting around your CDs :)))) Thank you again, your generosity in searching is much appreciated. Chris

Clare Sarah Marchand baptised 21 October 1765 daughter of Daniel Marchand and Anne Godfrey. Born 30 September. Phil Masson was the vicar. Godparents Led pere and lad mere which is French for something. Some of the registers after 1750 dont give place of origin of the parents as the original immigrants arrived in the 160s and the parents of any children baptised post 1750 in the French churches were most probably grandchildren of the original immigrants and were often Londoners themselves.
