AnnCardiff has found the original marriage on familysearch.org , but not one for Rebecca. Were they still in Kent or had they moved elsewhere?
Try to read your original post as if you knew nothing about the family. You gave no dates or geographical area. Its a big, wide world out there ;-) :-)

You obviously have a copy of the Mears/Deacon marriage certificate - could you please give us ALL the details from it. We can then back-track to try and work out how the witnesses are related.

Edit - your title implies Charles Mears married Louisa Deacon.

It would still help if you could tell us when and where!
How old where Charles and Louisa as that would help find linked records.
Are their occupations for either themselves or the father's mentioned or is it too early for that info?

I am trying to trace my grandfathers grand parents, was Martha Tunnel listed as witness the mother of Rebecca Mears.
Was Rebecca's Mears the daughter of William Mears married to Martha Quested, or is Martha Tunnel Martha Quested?
