Jacqueline

Jacqueline Report 12 Jul 2014 23:20

Hi JoonieCloonie.
Kenneth pm the same details that Zoe and Shirley sent me. So you are not wasting your time. All help is appreciated
Thank you for for finding out about Beryl for me. I never thought of her going so young.I wouldn't have gone down that line yet. So saved me a lot of time.

Thank you all again.

you're welcome Jacqui :-)

the thing is that when somebody sends info by private message and doesn't bother noting in the thread that they are doing it, other people do waste time duplicating it, as does seem to have happened here ... regulars here I think know that it's not fair to other helpers to do that ... it's not your fault (although it helps if you mention what you have received)

I wondered about Beryl when she wasn't mentioned in the obituary Fairthorn posted so had a look in the deaths index and unfortunately it does look to be her death there ... I guess that is sad news for your dad and I would not have just put it in public here, had he been the person asking, I prefer to do that privately and a little more gently, but you will be able to tell him properly I'm sure.

Hi Joonie Cloonie.

Thanks I do realise that I should have said something about pm. Can understand what you are saying and why.
Dad passed away a few yrs ago, so he won't know. He never mentioned about it. Another relation did. So I thought I would try and find out what I could about them
Thanks again every one for you help

You could try the tel number for the funeral directors . Their records will have the name and address for the person who arranged the funeral Whilst they probably won't give it to you they may agree to pass on a letter from you to them

It's worth a shot
