Thank you for the message.

The main problem was a gremlin in the account and it was that which caused the problem! We have a separate social media team who look after FB and it was them who alerted me to the messages posted there ( not getting replies didn't flag up any issue as I just believed that was perhaps normal!)

But I shall hold onto this info just in case I ever need to refer to it

Strange because the GR Facebook Team are not answering any questions about our new Community Manager.

Oh well perhaps now the GR Team will believe us members when we report a problem.

Apart from Alison's reply via Cynthia has Alison actually replied to any of the boards herself.I can not find an answer but maybe one of you more experienced readers have found an answer.If Alison has not replied what chance is there to an answer to any questions we ask ?
Found her apology on the Announcement board on 24 April.There has obviously been no response since .So it looks like these comments everyone has made since that apology have been brushed under the carpet.

nope, no other contact.

The Community Manager is supposed to do the Suggestions Board round-up once a month .......... it's at least 2 months since the last round-up.


The staff almost never respond to postings on the Boards ............ I doubt they even read them! These threads are really a place for us to vent, without expecting any feedback from anyone by other members :-)


That's why any questions of GR should be asked by email, NOT on the Boards. The help you will get on site will be from other members ............. who are very experienced and you may even get better help from them :-)

I was one of the ones who did complain on the FB page, and thus elicited GR's response as posted by Claire above

The GR Team have been told many times over the years about giving priority to their FB page but they are not listening at all to the many members who do not use Facebook.
