Having looked at 1841 again, I'm sure it's the right family.

Next door but one, there's Joseph Green, clerk, at the Rectory - age 30, not born in county.

In 1861, next door to the Kirks is Joseph Green, rector, at Parsonage House, age 54, born Holland.


Also, although Ancestry's transcription says they're in Owersby in 1841, the image says Owmby.
