	I've searched on SP for all deaths of a Mary (not specifying surname) in Kelvin in 1885 - and there's no sign of any surname remotely like Greenan.
	Researching: Old genealogists never die.....they just lose their census.

	Sorry have not been able to reply sooner . Thank you all very much for your help. ArgylleGran, I am so sorry about not putting Patrick's mothers name up, I thought I had along with his fathers name , Thank you also for Bernard's death cert information, I have not long started looking for the Greenan side of the family so all this information is fantastic . I am just going through everything you all have found, it's all much appreciated.

	Just found the death for Mary Greenan nee Smith on Scotlandspeople. She died 28/2/1885 in the district of Partick,aged 60. Her usual address was 74, Anderson Street. Widow of Bernard Greenan. Parents were James Smith, farm labourer and Jane m.s. McMahon . Her daughter Sarah signed the certificate, but I couldn't make out her married name , looks like McCluskey but not too sure.
