Hi Pauline,

Ann/Annie Keen born JAS 1842 Manchester (mothers name Smith) was the daughter of William Mossop Keen and Harriet Smith. Harriet Smith was originally married to William Senior and they had two children named Harriet and William (cannot find them). I believe Ann/Annie married a Franklin and hence the name of her daughter Emily Edith Franklin born AMJ 1872 Manchester (mothers name Keen). The FindMyPast Manchester Cemetery Records show a William Mossop Keen as grave owner of grave 2365 at Cheetham Hill Wesleyan Cemetery. Ann/Annie had an elder brother John, and a younger brother William who died 1845 (of Teething??) and buried in the above grave. So assuming a Wesleyan connection, maybe Ann/Annie married in a Wesleyan Church and that's maybe why we can find no record...

Best wishes,
Paul.
