His name is John Thomas Ashwell, he was born in 1918 in the Colchester area, he married Lily Elsie Smith in the 1940's. He was one of ten children I know some of their names, Albert, Rosie, Len and Minnie or Millie I think. His father was called either Albert Ernest or Ernest Albert and was a train driver.
