I am trying to establish where Clara Barter (B: c 1859 to father Henry Barter) was born. I know she married in Adelaide, South Australia in 1877 to George Alfred Weaver but before that I have no trace of her or her siblings or Mother. If anyone can shed any light on this I would be most grateful. Thankyou. |

Karen My grand mother was Mary barter her father came to Australia in 1852 as a 2yr old from Dublin. Patricia Moorehead from Cublin has done extensive resaerch on th Barter falmily if you think that your barters came from ireland she has the knowledge. If so I can give you the email. Also google Barter and irish roots and there is info there. Good luck Our Barters settlrd in Melbourne. Vic. Mary |
