Trying to find relative of Batton family who originated in Galtson, Ayrshire in the late 1800's. My grandfather was George Batton born in 1915 Douglas Water and died 19 May 1975 (married to Jean King, died 15 Jan 1952). They had children Frank, Margaret (my mum), George, Andrew, Jean and John. My great grandfather was also George Batton born 1879 Galston, died 1929 Galston. They had children - Isabella, Lily McGregor, Margaret, Cissy, George, Andrew and Maggie. My great great grandfather was Andrew Batton born Ireland and died 1933 - married to Lilias Batton ~(Married Dalserf 13 Aug 1877). They had children - Elizabeth, George, Robert, Peter, Helen, Andrew, Nellie, Susan, Jane and John. I can then go back another generation to : George Batton born 1807 died 1872 married to Elzabeth. |
