Member Since: April 2007 Posts: 7 Send Message	I am after any information on any Beatties/Beattys in Rathfriland, Co. Down Ireland. My great great great grandfather was Isaac Beattie - born c1825 in, I believe, Rathfriland. He married Martha McLeish in Scotland and emigrated to Australia in 1852 and died in 1905 in Sydney. His mother was Eleanor/Ellen.. maiden name possibly Moore. His father was William Beatty and they were living in Rathfriland in 1852. William died between 1852 and 1863. Ellen and Isaac's sister Sarah Beatty were living in Lissize in 1864/1865. Can anyone help! cheers Caroline
