I am trying to find any relatives of my maternal grandfather, Alexander Biggar born c1899. His father was also Alexander and his mother was Margaret Biggar, nee Maxwell. He married my grandmother, Agnes Erskine Cunningham (known as Nan) in 1926 and at that time he lived in Queen Victoria Street, Airdrie, Lanarkshire. He had an older brother called Archie and a younger(I think) brother called Robert Maxwell Biggar. He also had two elder sisters called Hannah and Nellie. I cant find any information about his brother Robert at all. He was a house painter and eventually had a shop in Stirling Street in Airdrie. My grandfather died in 1958. Any information at all would be helpful. |
