Trying to find Blewett (Mother)

I am trying to find out about my mother's grandmother. Her name was Elizabeth Blewett, she lived in Lower Quarter Ludgvan Cornwall and I believe was born in 1839/40. She couldn't write as my Great Grandfather's birth certicate shows a cross by her name and no father. There are two places on the certificate to show that Elizabeth was 15 years old. When Frederick got married he was 19 years old and his mother would have been 34 years old. On his certificate it states his father was Frederick Blewett Solicitor. He became a chemists assistant in a Pharmacy under the arches at Clapham Railway Station London until his death in 1908 at age 53 years ( he was an alcoholic). I can find no direct links to Elizabeth or Frederick the Solicitor. An exchange of information would be welcome. Did Elizabeth get married? Was another family involved in bringing up her son? Ludgvan and the District of Uly Lelant on Frederick's Birth Certificate at the time of Frederick's birth 1855 was apparently a mining area and a lawless "Klondike" social environment. Within some twenty years this mining madness spread to Australia, the Americas etc and Cornwall's mining industry collapsed.
