Hello Hilary,
My 3xGGM was Magaret Boase, born abt 1778 & buried 20 Nov 1851 in St Just in Penwith. She married Charles Ellis 12 Feb 1803 in St Buryan, Conwall, had 8 children that I'm aware of, including Thomas, Baptised 29 Jul 1807, my direct ancestor.

If you have any info on her & her family I'd be most grateful.

Regards
Jeff Beaton

I have just started researching my father's side of the family. He was Edwyn John Boase, DOB 17.06.1920, his father was Frederick George Boase born I believe round Armworth in Yorkshire. My dad worked in Kenya for 25 years as a teacher and I believe there was a family of Boase in Uganda, in fact Sister Pauline Boase was a teacher in my school Loretto Convent Msongari in Nairobi, so any information you are able to let me have would be most useful in order to start my search. my e.mail address is [email protected]
