Trying to find Boxall

I am trying to find out more about my great grandparents ELIZA BOXALL (c.1871-1944, also known as Eliza Lee) and James Wadey(c.1872-1931), who married in Brighton in 1890. Both bride & groom were about 18 at that time and the marriage was also witnessed by an EMILY BOXALL. I do not know if this EMILY BOXALL was mother, sister, friend or whatever of the bride. I believe that the bride's parents were Ms Boxall (who may have originated in Cork, Ireland, per my grandfather) and John Lee (who may have originated either in the New Forest area or again in Cork, also per my grandfather). This line is proving almost impossible for me to trace, perhaps because they were Irish tinkers and/or Romany gypsies (as my grandfather believed), so any help is appreciated. Please could you let me know if any of this sounds familiar to you. Cheers, Claire |
