Trying to find Bray

My father died some years ago, and as far as I know his mother had only 2 brothers, Frank Bray born IOW in 1901 and Albert William Bray born in 1898 in Westbury district. Frank was never married and died in Swindon, Albert (Willy) also lived and died in Swindon around the 1908s. I have come across some letters my father wrote to his Aunt in Trowbridge, the last letter dated 1984, I also have some phots of his Aunt and her daughters, the only names I have are Greta and George, this was probably his Aunt and a cousin, the address he wrote to was 82 The Croft Trowbridge. The occupants at this address today are listed as Carpenter Bros - I beleive they are in the trade. Is there any way that I can find out who lived at this address in the 1980s - if the person my father wrote to was his Aunt, then its possible his mother had other brothers or sisters. My father's mum was Annie Bray born in Lullington 1896, her parents were Thomas Bray born 1957 in Norton Bavant and Charity Goodwin born Warminster abt 1875 in the Union Workhouse. Any suggestions on how I can find out who lived at this address durring the 1980s would be appreciated. Regards Chris |
