Member Since: December 2005 Posts: 9 Send Message	Isabella Breck b 1863 Dumphries. Married Joseph Smith Holland in 1890 in Eccles. Isabella's siblings were Allan, William, Mary Anne, Fergus, Helen William, Annie and Jessie, all born between 1852 and 1871. Isabella & Joseph were my great-grandparents. Member Since: December 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	Hi Carol Isabella Breck was born in Eccles in 1863 not Dumfries her father Peter Breck was born in Dumfries in 1811 her mother Ann was born in Eccles Peter came to England about 1845 his occupation both in Scotland and in England was Tailor.Isabella was named after Peters sister Isabella my gg grandmother who married John Tait in Dumfries in 1831. Peter and Isabella's parents were William Breck born 1777 and Helen Irvine born c1786 both in Dumfries they married 17th October 1805. Williams father was William Breck born 1749 Dumfries died 7th August 1819 and is buried in St Michaels Churchyard Dumfries his occupation was Shoemaker His mother was Helen Tait born Dumfries daughter of Robert Tait and Agnes Finlay I have more information if you would like it my email is [email protected] Best Regards David Brown
