Hi I have ancestors from the Bury/Ainsworth, Bolton area in Lancashire specifically. Robert Brooks, Holcombe 1723 Samuel Brooks, Holcombe 1749 - 1789 Richard Brooks DOB not known Samuel Brooks Bury 1813 - 1879 Richard Brooks Bolton 1841 Samuel Brooks Tonge Moor Gate 1868 ( my gt grandfather who married Mary Ann O'Neill b 1873 Bolton) Albert Brooks 1896 - 1974 Would be be most interested in contacting any O'Neills out there who can trace their line through John O'Neill of Bolton born in abt 1853 who married Lydia Heyes in the Parish Church Bolton on the 10th March 1873 as my grandfather Albert Brooks was living with his grandad John O'Neill at the time of the 1901 census. Also any descendents of Joseph Vose b 1865 and Patience Vose b1871 who at the time of the 1901 census were living at 11 Reservoir St Bolton (my grandmother Emma was one of their children) |
